The whole experience was special! Stayed for 2 nights in this charming old place, enjoyed that. The breakfast was savoury with fresh pastries, you will not be disappointed. The location was amazing and fantastic, just off shops and restaurants, the Ferries and the town center.

Can get to the bus station within 5 minutes' walk. The venue has nicely equipped rooms and attentive staff at the reception desk. The price is just right - £ 69.
Couldn't stay longer.

I'd recommend this hostel to everyone! Excellent value for money! The rooms were very nice and clean and they had all sorts of free stuff that I'd normally expect in a 4 star hotel (apart from the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner there were things like toothbrush, comb, sponge, tissues, candy, etc.) We stayed only one night, but I'd come back for a longer period any time!
No complaints, everything was perfect!

Beautiful location in Alcala which is a wonderful small town. On weekends it is noisy outside the hotel in the square till around 2:00 am.

Location is perfect for Alcala. Spacious clean rooms. Quiet from outside noise. Friendly front desk. Good price.
Internet suddenly stopped working - for many guests, and for over a day. (alternate connection was provided in lobby). Bed had spring coils sticking out, yet wasn't actually too uncomfortable. Far from great though. Excessive noise from cleaning staff in mornings. Bad soundproofing from adjacent rooms as well.

Good location overlooking a plaza by the University which is a nice building. The town has a small interesting center and the hotel is well located for that. Hotel parking very complicated to use, I gave up trying to locate the hotel parking and used a close-by guarded public parking, less expensive as well !
Windows not well soundproofed especially on a Saturday night when raucous "students" must get drunk until very late in the morning. Need earplugs if you want to have a complete night! Or insist on off- street bedroom. Hotel not responsible for behavior but windows should be adapted.
